Supporting the House Corporation
Though the house corporation has maintained a healthy financial situation for many decades, we cannot continue to ensure the facility is in optimal condition without the support of Alpha Chi Omega alumnae and friends.
Buy a Brick
Since the summer of 2011, the house corporation has offered the opportunity for sisters and friends of Alpha Chi Omega to purchase brick paver stones for the front entrance ramp of the chapter house. Over 100 brick pavers have been added. You can join your sisters in purchasing a brick, which you can engrave with a message to commemorate your time at Gamma Chapter, honor a big sister, special friendship, or remember a sister who is no longer with us. Proceeds will be used toward the cost of the remaining indoor improvements. Your tax deductible donation of $150 will buy one brick, engraved and installed, with up to three lines of text.
Donate directly
If you wish to make a tax deductible donation to Gamma Chapter, please write a check (payable to Northwestern University with “Alpha Chi Omega Building Fund” in the memo portion) and mail it to: Alpha Chi Omega House Corp P.O. Box 829 Evanston, IL 60204-0829 Gamma chapter welcomes donations at any point in time. These funds allow for house renovations and other long term projects to improve chapter facilities.

What is House Corporation?
The House Corporation is incorporated in the State of Illinois to lease, maintain and operate the Gamma facility for the use of the Chapter. We provide an inviting and safe environment for the chapter women to call home on campus. House Corporation members are volunteers who spend a couple of hours a month at meetings, and are responsible for maintaining and preserving the future of the house.
The House Corporation also includes three chapter representatives, which change year-to-year. The Chapter President, the Vice President of Finance and the Vice President of Facility Operations act as liaisons between the board and the chapter, and provide invaluable insight into the chapter experience.
The house corporation is always looking for new members! Any member of Alpha Chi Omega is welcome to attend our meetings, and can even join the board! The only qualifications are a friendly face, your willingness to attend 7-8 meetings a year at the Gamma chapter house and possibly serving on a committee. Contact Karen Aeschlimann if you are interested in attending a meeting or joining the board.
